It’s Monday November 2nd and we are now at Bill and Louise’s. We arrived on Saturday evening after a long drive from Maniwaki.
We had a wonderful time of ministry in the Mont Tremblant area. On Wednesday evening we did a concert at l’Eglise Evangelistic Baptist de l’Annonciation where I shared my testimony and sang in both French and English. Wayne shared a word of encouragement and challenged the people to test and see weather they are Christians or Disciples and if they desired to be disciples they must pick up their cross and follow Christ and love Him above all else. Good message!
The next evening we visited the prison where we had around 30 men come out to chapel. Again I shared in song and testimony. Wayne shared about Esaw’s bowl of stew and challenged the men to ask themselves what bowl of stew were they trading for the place of Christ in their lives. Great time of fellowship afterwards with the guys. Please pray for J.D. a young man I had a chance to chat with and challenge him to give his all to Christ. Very talented individual whom God could use for His glory in a mighty way.
Thursday evening we were in Maniwaki an hour north of Ottawa. We were in the community hall, again I shared in song and testimony in both French and English and Wayne shared a message on the woman at the well and how once we taste the living water Jesus offers us we will never thirst again for the things this world has to offer. Mark Dana the area missionary translated for Wayne. Wayne used one of his farm stories to relay the message so we had a great laugh together listening to Mark trying to find the proper French words to use for this story.
I want to thank you all for your prayers and support. Please pray for our health as I seem to be coming down with a cold and we are only at the beginning of the tour.
I will let you all know how the next few gigs go later on.
